EASTER IN BLUE AND WHİTE
While preparing various Easter shots, I got the idea to create a photo in the Gzhel style.
Gzhel is a Russian folk craft, a type of Russian folk painting related to white and blue ceramics, and also one of the traditional Russian centers of ceramic production.
I have a lot of dishes with white and blue painting at home, I bought some elements for the composition specially (candlesticks, transfer pictures on eggs and candles, tablecloth, flowers). For convenience and to speed up the process, I glued the transfer pictures on raw eggs.
Shooting procedure:
– Put the camera on a tripod. I shoot using an app on my phone that allows you to take photos on the camera remotely using a Wi-Fi connection.
– I chose back-side lighting for my shot. You can use some other scheme, it all depends on the shooting point.
– To illuminate the darker side of the frame, you can use a reflector.
– Build a composition for the frame to your taste and make your own gorgeous frame
Below is the backstage of my frame.
